Kakapo Print

The Kakapo (night Parrot) is a crittically endangered bird native to New Zealand. It cannot fly and relys mainly on its soft green plumage as camoflage to protect its self. It is estimated to only be 125 birds surviving today. Ana Lee Bergius is an artist living and working in the Catlins, New Zealand.  Inspiration is drawn from her natural surroundings as well as her Maori/European heritage.
