Kea are New Zealand's mountain parrot, and the only true alpine parrot in the world. They're olive-green in colour with beautiful scarlet underwings. Although critically endangered, many visitors to New Zealand will have the chance to meet Kea because of their natural curiosity towards people. Ana Lee Bergius is an artist living and working in the Catlins, New Zealand.  Inspiration is drawn from her natural surroundings as well as her Maori/European heritage.
